Solo violin over a produced backing track

About
Overview
I'm a solo violinist based just outside the Triangle, and Raleigh is the heart of where I play — wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, corporate receptions, and private events across the city. I perform over a professionally produced backing track, so one musician fills a room the way a small ensemble would, backed by 33 five-star reviews across Google and WeddingWire. Tell me your date and venue, and I'll tell you exactly how the music would work.
More
Raleigh's venues run from historic homes near downtown to hotel ballrooms and modern event floors, and the solo-violin format travels well across all of them: a small, self-contained setup, no stage plot, and professional amplification included with every performance and scaled to the space. For weddings, the music carries the moments that matter — prelude, processional, cocktail hour, a first dance or featured dinner moment. Packages start at $799.

About
Violin music in this area
Most of my Raleigh work is weddings, with corporate receptions and private events close behind. Downtown's historic-house venues are home ground for me — I've played the Merrimon-Wynne House many times — and I'm available across the city year-round.

Where I perform
I've performed all over the Merrimon-Wynne House downtown — ceremonies on the lawn under the pecan trees, cocktail hour inside the main house, receptions in the Carriage House — so I know how sound behaves at a downtown Raleigh historic venue, indoors and out. Wherever your Raleigh venue sits, the setup is the same: self-contained, one small footprint, ready in about twenty minutes.
FAQ
Common questions
Yes — Raleigh is the core of my service area. I cover ceremonies, cocktail hours, and featured reception moments like a live first dance, and I'm available for corporate and private events across the city as well. Reach out with your date and I'll confirm availability.
Yes. I've played the Merrimon-Wynne House downtown many times — lawn ceremonies, cocktail hours in the main house, and Carriage House receptions — so downtown Raleigh's historic venues are familiar ground.
The first 35 miles from my base in Pittsboro are included; anything farther is simply quoted up front with your booking — no surprises.
My packages start at $799 for a ceremony and run to full-day experiences; the main price-shapers are how much of the day you want covered and travel. Every package is listed with its exact price on my experiences page.
Outdoor ceremonies always use an amplified setup — professional amplification is included with every performance and scaled to the space, so the violin and backing track carry to the back row without overwhelming the vows.

Tips for your event
Spring and fall Saturdays book earliest across the Triangle, and downtown Raleigh venues can carry sound-cutoff rules worth confirming with your coordinator early. Dates are held first come, first served, and only reserved once the deposit is in — if your date is set, it's worth checking availability now.

Andreea was such pleasure to work with. She provided a list of songs she covered, but I wanted a Spanish song for our first dance. This song is so special to my husband and I. I provided the name of the song and Andreea learned the song and made it absolutely perfect.

She was absolutely amazing. We had to find a musician last minute and she was very flexible and helped choose songs and was very professional and helpful. 100% would recommend. When I came down the corridor to our wedding and heard her playing the violin with our hand picked songs for the aisle, I broke into tears. Never had a chance against the beauty that was her music! Great price as well, she was on time and cordial and bid us farewell before she left.

Andreea was amazing to work with and really professional. She made our ceremony extra special and all of our guests raved about the music. She is so talented and fun to work with. She even played Queen - Another one bites the dust for the guys to walk out to. Hiring Andreea for our ceremony music was one of the best decisions we made! Thank you!!!!
